An Artisan’s Dialogue with Nature

Carmen is a Spanish-Cuban artist whose multicultural upbringing has shaped her craft.

She has a BA (Hons) in Wood, Metal, Plastic and Ceramics from Brighton University. The uniqueness of this course has shaped her approach to jewellery, a deep respect for materials, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Over the years, she has continually sought new ways to expand her knowledge, exploring techniques that help her refine and develop her own unique creations. She has lived in Miami and London and is now based in Madrid, where she works from her home studio.
